Healthy Breakfast Smoothie Recipes

Are you looking for a quick complete breakfast that you can take with you while you rush out the door in the morning?  Smoothies can provide a complete meal in a glass if their ingredients are healthful.  Here are some of our favorite healthy breakfast smoothie recipes that you might like to try!  Please note the ingredients in each recipe are whole foods that do not include added sweeteners which is the key to creating a healthy smoothie.

 

 

Peanut Butter Berry Smoothie

1/4 cup 1% low-fat milk

1/2 medium ripe banana

1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter

1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries

1/2 cup crushed ice

Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until the desired consistency is reached.

Berry Banana Oatmeal Smoothie

5 strawberries

1 handful of blueberries

1/2 banana

3/4 cup plain fat free yogurt

3/4 cup skim milk

4 tbsp uncooked oatmeal

Place all ingredients in the blender and mix until desired consistency is reached.

 

Pumpkin Oatmeal Smoothie

1/4 cup pumpkin, canned (not pie filling)

1/4 cup rolled oats

1/2 tsp. pumpkin spice seasoning

1 tsp. maple syrup

1/2 cup greek yogurt plain

3/4 cup of non-fat milk

Place all ingredients in the blender and mix until desired consistency is reached.
